Section 3: Community Involvement
Community Involvement. I'm around my ward daily and always available for contact by phone, email or a knock on the door at home. I'm now quite heavily involved with the Elizabeth Mills Centre I Stourport where I meet several residents for a chat about any concerns they may have.
Section 4: Assisting Constituents
I endeavour to help my constituents with any problems they may have and as soon as I possibly can. I work with our local Community Housing team and also Platform Housing (a lot lesser properties in the Wyre Forest area) regarding housing issues which I find are plentiful and, in some cases, find need urgent attention.
Section 5: Supplementary Information
I am Chairman of the Licensing and Environment Committee which I find really interesting and I'm always happy to help solve any issues in that particular field. I'm also a Stourport Town Councillor sitting on various committees i.e. Parks, Grants, Civic Hall etc. I've been honoured to represent my hometown of Stourport as Mayor as it stands at the moment on a record of 4 separate occasions. During my Mayoral years I was pleased to have raised many £1000s for various local charities and also raise other monies for further smaller charities outside my Council involvement
