I am Vice Chair of the Local Governing Body of King Charles 1 School, Joint Chair of Governors of Offmore Primary and a Governor of Comberton Primary School. I represent WFDC on the WCC Corporate Parenting Board. I am Treasurer of the local charity H.E.L.P and am Chair of Worcestershire Ukraine. I am a member of the committee of Friends of St Georges Park and Chair of the Save the Paddling Pool Group. I am a Member of Kidderminster Town Council. I am a Season Ticket holder and Player sponsor at Kidderminster Harriers FC.
Section 4: Assisting Constituents
Along with my colleague Cllr Shazu Miah I run the Cllrs Advice Shop at 5 Burcher Green, Comberton estate which is open Monday-Saturday 10-12. We deliver a regular FOCUS Newsletter across the Ward. We also deliver targeted Street Letters to residents about specific issues. I deal with a huge volume of casework much of it about Housing and Planning issues and work closely with Community Housing. I regularly attend Café Chad on Monday and Wednesday mornings and hold joint surgeries with West Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Section 5: Supplementary Information
Since having to use a wheel chair I am increasingly concerned about the number of access issues locally.
